    Visitation Times Wednesdays & Saturdays Female Inmates 12-1 PM Male Inmates 1- 5 PM

    Each Inmate is allowed 30 minutes visitation time No children are allowed at visitation. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age to visit. Items Inmates May Receive White under garments (Boxers, T-shirts,Socks) No more than 5 each. Money can be left for inmates, but an inmate can not acquire an account balance greater than $100.00.

    No personal hygiene items may be left, they are provided by the jail. Anyone leaving property must sign a release to leave the property, insuring that no contraband is in the property. If contraband is found you will be prosecuted.

    HISTORY OF THE BACON COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE Bacon County Created: By an act of the Legislature approved July 27, 1914, Bacon County was created; the Act being a proposed amendment of the Constitution of the State of Georgia requiring ratification by the qualified voters of the State. Upon submission to the voters the proposed amendment was ratified at the polls by the voters in the General Election in November 1914; thus the new county, named for Senator Augustus O.     Bacon County Superior Court Waycross Judicial Circuit Bacon County State Court Court Room Procedures & Regulations: Appropriate Clothing Attire Must Be Worn At All Times.

    The following is prohibited attire in the court room: - Shorts - Head Wear (Hats, Scarves, etc.) - Mini- Skirts - Flip Flops - Tank Tops - And all other inappropriate articles ** If you are dressed inappropriately you will not be allowed in the courtroom and you will be counted as absent when the court calendar is called. No weapons of any kind will be allowed in the courtroom. (This includes pocket knives, box cutters, etc.) No electronic equipment will be allowed in the courtroom. (Unless approved by the Judge prior to court.) - This includes cell phones, southern lincs, walkmans, radios, recording devices, etc. IT WILL BE CONFISCATED Children are not allowed in the courtroom unless ordered by the Judge. No Food or Drinks are allowed in the Court Room.
