(not renewal or reinstatement) have the option to either submit a fingerprint card to the TBI or travel to Tennessee and have an electronic scan performed by L-1 Identity Solutions, the selected vendor for the State of Tennessee as of August 1, 2011
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PRINTS SCANNED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF WHEN YOU REGISTER, OR YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO RE-REGISTER AND RE-PAY THE $48.00 PROCESSING FEE.Check the website: https://health.state.tn.us/providers.htm to find the contact information for each Board to request a fingerprint card. Current processing time is 4-6 weeks, which starts when received at TBI Headquarters Prints rejected due to poor quality could extend processing time.
